Lust to check this place according to the reviews. the thought pub was closed, but parked in small labyrinth and knocked on the door. very welcome made by owner neil, a real guy with a friendly character. place is a timewarp from the way bygone ära! good beer and my wife had a wonderful glass wein. recommend when in or near to pop-in, they should not dissapointed after a chat with friendly, characterful rental with immense knowledge of locality.

What an excellent place! as authentic as one cannot expect from most pubs nowadays. this pub is a true time capsule and shows its history in truly all asspects. the last changes have happened 30 years ago. ralph, the renter, is a really nice person. very friendly, of a very special character. the last night was great. thank you ralph!

Great pub! We visited this afternoon and received a very warm welcome from the landlord. If you're in the area, you should definitely check this place out—it's completely unique and quirky. However, if you prefer polished, chic, and characterless environments, then this venue is probably not for you.

Unique and timeless place full of character not like any pub they ever hold in a time of their own. it was 20 years ago not a bit changed, was very happy that it did not.
