Agave Rye Lexington Broadway

I?m glad to report that my first experience at an Agave Rye restaurant was epic. This artistic and lively taco hall offers 20 different ?Epic Tacos?, libations, and other munchies. Tried the top option on the Epic Tacos list, The Swipe Right. Comes with herbed chicken, sweet spicy bacon, aged white cheddar, and salsa, but I think they mean pico de gallo, but I could be wrong. I opted out of the sour cream. What makes their tacos unique is they are double-shelled(crunchy corn inside and a soft flour tortilla on the outside). Each epic taco is a single order of one taco. But I found the taco plenty loaded. I made two tacos out of one by messily transferring the spill over from the corn shell to thesoft tortilla. The chicken and bacon were both well seasoned, and the salsa fresh, but I think the taco would have been better if the taco was warmed allowing the cheese to melt. Aside from that, when it comes to the dining room, it isreminiscent of a nightclub. The interior is decorated with portraits of music icons, splashes of gravity and colorful motifs, recessed black antique Victorian decorative ceiling tiles, dozens of chandeliers and pendant lamps, andfashionable dance music playing from the speakers. But just a tad loud for my ears. Good experience overall. Next time I think of tacos, I?m sure I?ll consider Agave Raye. Only recommendation I have for this franchise is to open earlierand offer breakfast tacos. Now that would be epic.

Sooo.. 5 stars on everything. This place is probably one of the coolest places. Each room is different with a funky vibe. Food, amazing! Drinks, even better. I'm upset we were only in town for a day. I wanted everything.

Big tacos. Surprisingly one taco is probably enough to fill you up especially if you get an app. Taco's are creative and delicious. Decor is a funky tribute to 90s pop queens. Happy hour ends promptly at 6. If you place your order before 6 and the server doesn't enter the order on time you will get charged full price.Parking: Paid parking garage across the street.

Cool spot. Creative tacos but difficult to eat because so much is crammed into the shells. I would have loved more sauce options for the tacos. Service was good.

Great place to get ready for a Kentucky Basketball Game. Anticipate a wait during game days.
