Dano's Pizza - Lexington County

This was my second time coming here and it was great. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. I had Will as my waiter today and he provided great service. He constantly checked in on me and was great at providing me with some food suggestions. I had a pepperoni Calzone and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the portions. The inside and is pretty spacious and there's also an outdoor patio area.

This restaurant has often been recommended to me through word of mouth while I have stayed in Columbia. I finally decided to give it a go as I was craving some Italian food. As I ordered I was told that they were going through some menu changes and were not offering the full menu so I had to adapt and went with a chicken parmesan calzone. I was pleasantly surprised with the portions and flavor of the calzone. I hope that by now the full menu is back. I understand why this place is so infamous throughout the area and will definitely be coming back.

Pizza was okay. Not every topping was fresh. Some were canned. No entrees available. Prices on menu were lower than what was charged on ticket. Will pass on this pizzeria next time.

Danos has been my go to pizza spot in Columbia, SC for about five+ years now due to they get the CLOSEST to actual New York style pies. Hands down the best pizza in Columbia with the most consistent customer service. I will miss you Danos :

We came here excited to sit with our friends, the waitress was un-accommodating as well as unfriendly. She was verbally abuse to both me and my guests and did not want to serve us. As soon as we got a new waiter the night took a turn and we had a wonderful time. The lady who served us briefly needs to be fired.
