Bidrage med feedbackAfter many years of staying away from this particular store for bad food and bad service, I thought I would try again and I placed an order through Door Dash. I ordered a shrimp entree that allowed me to choose 2 different shrimp items. I also ordered a half dozen biscuits that I was charged 4.79 for. The biscuits did not arrive. I do not blame the delivery person because whoever packed this order in the restaurant used a biscuit bag to pack the plasticware, butter and sour cream, so it 's easy to see how the driver thought they were there. I also discovered that no dipping sauces (cocktail or Pina colada) were in the order, so I guess I was expected to eat the shrimp dry. I bit into one, which was cold, hard and salty. I called the restaurant and the person who identified himself as a supervisor talked to me and said he would speak to his GM and figure out what to do and call me back. After 20 minutes of waiting. I called the restaurant back and was told they 're working on it to which I asked to speak to the GM. Waited another 5 minutes! He got on the phone and really had no explanation and said thanks for the feedback. I contacted Door Dash and they were great. They refunded my order. Please take my advice and stay clear of this particular store in Lewisville, TX. They do not care about the customer and their food is still subpar. They are not cheap, either! I do not mind spending money for good food, don 't get me wrong. Their lack of concern was disturbing.
So, from the time we put our name on the wait list, it was 2 hours to be seated even after we were told that our table was ready less than one hour into the wait. In the middle, they told us they were waiting to seat us to not stress the wait staff. Then once we got seated drink orders were not taken for 20 minutes and it took 40 minutes to get food after we ordered drinks. Food was ok but my brother ordered lobster tails and got no butter until ha asked several times and the food was no longer warm. All in all 4 hours from start to finish for dinner....unbelievable!
Didn't even get to be seated. Was told a 25min wait that turned into 50min wait. Somehow was still third to be seated. We juat left and went to a different restraunt. They obviously don't know what they were doing.
We had a reservation but still had to wait ~15 minutes to be seated. On busy days the staff give the impression that they don't know what they are doing. Once you actually sit down at a table though it gets way better. The server may forget the extra side dish you asked for or something minor like that but the food, biscuits, and mocktail I had tasted superb.
If you are looking for decent seafood, but don't want to pay upscale seafood prices, Red Libster is a fine option. In fact, if you have less than stellar memories of RL from years ago, it has gotten better. Red Lobster was a family favorite go-to spot when I was a kid. There was a time later where RL wasn't very good at all. They seem to have brought it back up to be a good seafood option again. It fills that slot between the upscale seafood restaurant and the cheaper diner type options.
