Inlay Burmese Kitchen - Lewisville

I use to love this place. However, my recent visit tonight has left me utterly disappointed and unsatisfied. I typically order the Burmese curry with beef and the salt and pepper calamari. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day in the kitchen or the quality has gone down that bad. The curry was oily and flavorless not to mention the portion size was mediocre and definitely not worth the amount of money being spent. The calamari left me absolutely baffled the breading was almost “doughy” and not crispy on the outside like calamari should be…the sauce was even different. I am so disappointed with Inlay because the food use to be amazing making you want to come back everyday just to have another bite now it’s gone downhill.

I was feeling homesick as I’ve recently moved here.We loved everything we ordered!Reminds me of my mom’s homemade Burmese food! 10/10 recommend!

Loved the flavors and not the wait. Place is smaller. Ordered the coconut curry noodle soup and lamb curry with palatha bread and Burmese rice.

Could have went to McDonald’s if I knew that the “Burmese samosa” was only potatoes wrapped in oily spring roll wraps. I thought it was supposed to be filled with onion , mint leaf, green beans and some spices ? First and definitely last time to visit this place. Service is good tho!

This is some of the best food I’ve had in my life! The food is so rich and flavorful! The pumpkin stew is stellar and I will be back every time I’m in the area!
