El Patio Mex-tex - Lewisville

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. The food was average, and the service was lacking. The manager appeared to focus on certain groups of customers, which was especially noticeable since there were only a few people dining in the restaurant. The waiter was decent but could have been more attentive. Although the manager noticed when service was needed—like refills—he chose not to step in, which added to the disappointment. Due to the lack of engagement and the selective attention given to some patrons, I won't be returning or supporting this establishment.

I was really impressed by the restaurant and the staff. However, the food was just average, and I think I would prefer to go to a different Tex-Mex restaurant that I know provides a better experience.

Our server was quite inattentive, leaving several of us without drinks for a long time. We even had to go to the bar ourselves to get some. The restaurant was nearly empty at the time. Instead of politely asking us to leave, the bartender had a woman at the bar sing loudly, “it's time to go home,” in a very rude manner. I was really disappointed with the experience, especially since we are regular customers. We probably won't be coming back.

I left this restaurant feeling quite let down. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was completely lacking in flavor. Every time a basket of vibrant tortilla chips came to my table, I found myself regretting my decision to dine there. I've had much better meals at Chili's. The margarita was excessively sweet and had an artificial taste due to the sour mix they used. Although the queso was decent and served in a generous portion, the chicken tinga tacos were unappealing, with a texture similar to microwaved meat. The only highlight of the meal was the salsa they provided at the table. Additionally, the service was slow and inattentive, with staff who seemed uninformed. I really don't understand why this place is so popular. Are diners really that easily impressed?

This restaurant was amazing! We didn't have to wait at all, and the service was prompt. Our server was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking this place out, especially for their lovely churro cart—it's a real treat and absolutely worth the visit!
