Antigoni's Pizza - Lewiston

I visited for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

The pizza had a nice crunch, the cheese was pleasantly chewy, but the chicken tenders were quite soggy. It was alright to eat, but I found it a bit challenging. I definitely prefer the other pizza places in the L/A area.

We assumed a waitress would come to take our orders, so we spent some time contemplating our options. Unfortunately, the gluten-free choices were limited to a small pizza and a few salads. After making our selections, I had to approach a wandering waitress to find out if we needed to order at the counter. Her terse reply confirmed that we did. We placed our orders and paid by credit card. There was a space for giving a tip, but I questioned the need for it, considering the only service they provided was bringing our food to the table. Is that really worth even a 10% tip? While I won’t go into details about what we ordered, I will say the food was very good, which did help overshadow the lack of service. However, the owner seems to overlook how this system discourages customers from ordering more food or dessert. It’s unfortunate, as everyone suffers: the waitstaff miss out on earning tips, the owner loses potential sales, and first-time customers like us leave feeling rushed and unsatisfied. It could be a much better experience for everyone involved!

Serving sizes were enough for 2 people the food incredibly delicious! When we ordered at the counter, the person taking the order was going to complete the order b4 hearing our full order. As odd as that sounds, it made sense when the meals were served as we had huge portions that required doggy bags to take home! And the Italian food was delicious! Meatballs with spaghetti were super good the accompanying salads were a meal in itself! All in all, the perfect Italian food!
