Ayasofya - Lewisham

I happened to pass by this restaurant yesterday, but unfortunately it no longer exists and is closed. It has been replaced by another establishment which also was not open. It is unclear if the property is being refurbished at this time.

We've had a lot of really good meals here. Each time we're greeted warmly by the friendly staff and served delicious food. The meat is always tender and really tasty, while the salads, breads, olives and desserts are always fresh and nicely presented.

We have just had a lovely lunch with friendly, polite and attentive service and very good food. The portions were generous and very well cooked.

Having passed this 'new ' place several times,i decided to 'pop in ' for the 'lunchtime special '...it is located by a busy main road,had a few tables outside on the pavement.prices were ok and the 'adana kebab,rice and salad ' option was no more than standard.with two efes beers,to aid digestion,i had a pleasant enough lunch.there are better kebabs available locally but at a higher price.it was tasty enough for me to consider it worthwhile to try again ,if passing but i would still take my friends elsewhere to my tried and trusted favourites

I stopped by as a woman dining alone for a late lunch, drawn in by the special lunch deal. It was a peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle of Catford Broadway. The food was exceptional, and the service was attentive and professional. The restaurant was impeccably clean. I would highly recommend it.
