The restaurant had a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere, but the prices for the food were far too high. The portions were small and it was obvious that the food was frozen. Charging £4 for garlic bread and £4 for frozen fries was not worth it. I would not recommend this place for dining, as it felt like a rip off.

Great food and beer with exceptionally friendly landlord and staff. Lots of gluten free food options.

Martin and his team at this lovely pub are fantastic. They helped cater for our Mum's funeral reception, as she had enjoyed many Sunday roasts here over the years. They happily accommodated our requests for vol au vents, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We were treated to huge scones with jam and cream to finish. We highly recommend this place and plan to return soon for a family Sunday lunch.

We had some excellent conditioned ales in here and the food looked good. We did not order food after seeing all the cobwebs and dead insects in the toilets, always puts you off!
