Lemongrass - Lewes

They were only serving the tapas menu two of us for lunch ordered T9a £14 including a medium glass of wine but the main food component is served in a very small container top right with very little meat mostly peppers. I ordered T15a Massaman curry including rice £10 which used to be a mini version of the proper Massaman curry on the main menu my fave dish to order the same price! but this was also served in the same small size container with rice small salad but was unrecognisable as a Massaman curry! No flavour, tasteless scrappy very small thin chewy shreddie size pieces of meat. This is not what is served as a Massaman curry on the main menu. This is an insult to your customers there are plenty of other places to eat.

We did a 6 mile walk so were pretty hungry when we arrived, we had looked at the menu on line but did not realise that lunchtime menu was different, however we asked the waiter if the kitchen would do crispy duck and oancakes for us as an extra and they did. Food was delicious.

I have been to Thailand multiple times and have dined at many Thai restaurants in the U.K. On this occasion, we ordered some of our favorite dishes, including beef Massaman. Unfortunately, what we received was a sauce with some bland, thinly sliced pieces of chewy beef. The house special duck dish was equally subpar and the vegetable dish consisted mainly of Chinese cabbage with very little else. Overall, the meal was lacking in flavor and left us disappointed. However, the service provided by the waiting staff was efficient.

Food tastes so fresh and really would recommend. Staff very friendly and restaurant based right in the centre of Lewes. Great place to go for fresh Thai food

The service was fast and the food was delicious. The staff didn't give off the best vibe, possibly due to the added pressures of Covid restrictions. One member seemed anxious about keeping a safe distance. All staff wore masks as required. The Thai food was enjoyable and I would visit again if in the area. The Eat out to Help out scheme made it very affordable.
