L'oeil Du Dragon Sushi - Lévis

Had the Samurai chef's choice platter. I'm fairly jaded when it comes to sushi in Quebec as it rarely lives up to my standard. This however I would say...

Nothing was fresh. Got 10 chef choice nigiri. As I was waiting for my order, the other worker took rolls out of the fridge, sliced a few pieces, and put the rest of the roll into the fridge. When my nigiri arrived, I could describe 3 different textures for the rice and two for the fish. Smelled a little fishy too and would not have eaten it if I didn't see the worker eating some while slicing mine!

Lunch menu a bit expensive, but comes with a drink. Very good general tao plate, despite its unusual look. Staff very friendly and service is very good. They also use biodegradable replacements for straws and packaging for take-out, which is very cool. Environmentally responsible, I can support that!

Great sushi! To be fair, when we first walked in I had my doubts. The place doesn't look like much, but the amazing sushi more than makes up for it. I've had my fair share of sushi around the world and L'oeil Du Dragon just stormed into my favourites. Would absolutely recommend this place.
