Bidrage med feedbackIf you have found the place in the middle of a residential area, you will be invited to the Terasse in beautiful weather, in the not so beautiful season you will sit in the cozy guest room. For celebrations there are various rooms, from small and cozy to large. In doing so, the kitchen well creates the balancing between cheap pub kitchen, good steaks and a little better gastronomy. Of course, you can't expect a star kitchen here, but the preparation of meat and sauces do well, and also with the supplements is more in it than just pumice and salad. Prices are very cheap! And: Thursday is Schnitzeltag!
The restaurant is cozy, the food is very good! Friendly service, whichever has a tip ready!
Summary: When you see where the place is and has existed for years, it has to be something and this is the kitchen that specializes in Schnitzel and Steaks. You notice the experience and the people, know how to deal with meat for these dishes. Local: with beautiful garden ideal for summer evenings. Inside, especially for large events. Romantic evening or business dinner inside, I could imagine. Service: very elastic when it comes to changing dishes, fast, nice and competent. Minus, the steaks don't ask how to fried steak. Beer selection (from the barrel): So guild ok. You can still get Jever in the bottle. Wine selection: Boring and not recommended and especially for steak would fit beautiful barrique-ripe Rioja or the wine from Portugal well. The wines are not expensive and can be stored you should perhaps consider investing in a well selected bottle. Kitchen therefore the most important: here you can see years of experience. Have eaten to the main dish Schnitzel with mushrooms and onion and was perfect and juicy from meat quality and preparation. I also tried steak with pffefer sauce and here was the same good result as the carving. Bratkartoffeln have disappointed me. The onion soup was ok but had already eaten significantly better onion soups in life. Even espresso didn't kill me. Price performance ratio: Very good. Schnitzel 10-13 EUR and Steak EUR 15-20. On Thursday, Schnitzeltag and the Schnitzel cost 9.5 EUR. Do I come back here?: I think so.
Third, we went to eat here spontaneously on a Friday night. O.K., we were there at 18:00, so we got a table without reservation, but it was quite full. All the other tables were occupied with more than four people, and had their dinner still before them. You noticed that, because the kitchen has had good to do so, so we also had our carvings approx. 30 minutes had to wait. However, the supplemental salad came relatively soon against the first hunger. Orders were received promptly, drinks came fast, and the two ladies from the service had their eyes everywhere and were very cleverly swirling between theke and tables back and forth. The carving portions are huge, so I have dispensed with the pommes. Since we had all three Pommes as a supplement, they came as a central large plate, from which everyone could take as much as he managed and even though we are good eaters, there was still something left! A big steak, two carvings and beverages for 54, €, I find it cheap!
Super Location for wedding party birthday party and other events. Beer garden beautifully located and ideally located for children and dogs. Restaurant a bit oldskul but appealing.
