This restaurant is in a hidden village at the doorsteps of cinque terre with an amazing view of Levanto and the sunset. The menu was simple but rich. The Liguria rabbit was melting in our mouth and the olive oil ice cream was delicious. Let us not forget the personable and perfect service. If only we could come back more often!

The setting, service, and view are perfect. We've eaten here 3 times, this is the first since the pandemic and I wanted to try it again with visiting friends from California. The one thing that has been consistent and bothers me each time is, nothing of the season i.e. it's the middle of July and the only salad was fennel which is a winter vegetable that doesn't taste or represent anything about summer freshness. They advertise local products in season. Okay, where were the tomatoes, zucchini, zucchini flowers, eggplant, and anchovies/calamari all at their peak in July? Something made with fresh basil/pesto is also at its perfection. Our server, Beatrice was lovely as was the wine list and service. I want to love this place because it is off the beaten track and the setting is so perfect but the kitchen needs to step it up prices are high for the quality of the food. I would be happy to pay for freshness but for what we had, it was too expensive. I still plan to try aperitivo which looks great fingers crossed!

The restaurant only has a tasting menu but you can choose the number of courses. We went for the full five courses and the quality was exceptional. Each course was paired with a local wine by their own sommelier. All the courses were excellent but special note most go to the beef dish which though simply served with a rocket salad and was melt in your mouth with such flavour and their deconstructed tiramisu was out of this world. A nice touch is that the dishes and their provenance are explained to the diners. All food is locally sourced which is very nice to see both helping local businesses and reducing the environmental impact. Finally the setting of the restaurants is wonderful with superb views out to the coast of Cinque Terre. It is a small restaurant with a limited number of tables so ideal for a romantic meal.

Posizione eccezionale, accoglienza impeccabile. Abbiamo passato un weekend meraviglioso. una delle perle del nostro ligure.

Buon cibo e buona vista, ma i tavoli, la prenotazione è difficile da trovare.
