CHEZ MARIE - Leucate

We were group of four. Two of us after long journey were very hungry. So we decided to try this restaurant. As our two friends have already eaten at home. So we ordered two meals only which we were REFUSED by the waiter. We were told that we must order four meals otherwise he cannot serve us. His justification was that restaurant will loose the money if another group of four clients come and eat. VERY STUPIDE LOGIC. More than half of the tables were empty at that time. We just left the restaurant without eating. I wonder who lost the money now and in future.

We didn't eat but we enjoyed our stop off for coffee at Chez Marie. The grand-crème was strong enough and certainly better that one or two other places in Leucate Village. Prices reasonable and service was good.

If you dont have where to eat this is a solution not the best but its ok, the bread is bad and the toilette awful but have a nice terrace where you can enjoy the village.The food has nothing special nothing can a child do in 2 minutes but is in the center of the party.

Food was ok, the steak I had was a little bit chewy, turned out to be flank, and service was only ok. Nothing special!

We were a bit lost in Leucate one night and we bumped into Chez Marie.A very cozy place right on the main place in Leucate.We didn´t expect much it was already late. But the owners were really nice and the food was really high quality french food. Freshly cooked as we order.The owner a very peculiar guy, ex-militar is making the atmospher really interresting. The prices are low for the quality. So I recomend it. you won´t be deceived.
