Had the most awful experience in Costa Coffee Letterkenny that I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a coffee and a small snack for a quick afternoon break. When I went to taste my coffee it was ice cold and tasted horrible. I...figured I’d go up to counter and ask for a new drink. But no I was greeted with disdain and rudeness the likes I’ve never seen before. The staff member that made my coffee scoffed at me rolling her eyes like it was my fault the coffee was bad. Never have I experienced such rudeness from an employee in my life. When I asked to speak to a manager she flat out refused to get her for me. Finally the manager came to see what was going on. I told her and she was very kind and apologetic, which was helpful because I was very hurt by the treatment of the staff member. She offered to refund my money which I did because I was not staying there another minute with that awful person. I walked out and found a very lovely cafe across the street where I enjoyed being treated nicely! I’m not sure if tourists or even locals will feel comfortable at Costa Coffee Letterkenny. All people want is respect and I did not receive that in this coffee shop. I am aware this is not Starbucks but I was at least expecting decent behavior. Beware

I had my grandchildren with me and we were in need of coffee and drinks for the children, both under 5 years old. This restaurant was conveniently located and met our needs perfectly. I enjoyed a latte, which was just what I needed, while the children had a fruit drink and a chocolate crispy cake shaped like a donut, which made them very happy. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were exceptionally clean.

I meet up with a friend at Costa regularly and we always enjoy our food. They offer a nice selection of pastries and the staff is very friendly.
