The Legendary Wing King - Lethbridge

20170822 After moved to the City of Lethbridge, our first lunch was at The Legendary Wing King.

If your a fan of chicken wings in the pubs or sports bars this place will deliver that same kind to your homeThere's 20 different types to choose from.

This is take out Wings only. They are delicious with a great variety of flavors. They are made fresh to order. They are a little pricey though.

Usually when you get wings for take away (from pizza places etc) they are either dry and overly salty or soggy and too saucy. Both the wet and dry wings are nicely crispy, fresh tasting with really nice sauces and seasonings. The staff is friendly and quick. Will definitely go back!

I stopped here to pick up some wings for lunch. Other people had raved about it but I was very disppointed. It is a take out only, though they do have a high counter where you could stand to eat if you wished. They also sell junk stuff - mugs, socks etc. Even though I did have one of their "wet" sauces - honey garlic - I still expected the wings to have some crunch left on them. It was not to be. The coating was soggy, the sauce was overly sweet, with not much of a garlic flavour. The fries were okay but they'd also become covered with the honey sauce. Then about an hour later, I felt awful - not food poisoning awful, but how I feel when I've had really bad Chinese food made with lots of MSG. I won't be going back.
