L'Escapade - Les Salles-sur-Verdon

There were many places to eat in les salles so we took pot luck and won! Fabulous food from a simple but honest menu and excellent local wine. We highly recommend.

Very welcoming on arrival we were made to feel special and the food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we learned that they would close at the end of October, but they were fresh and helpful.

The Croustade of Camembert (Filo dough filled with cheese and roasted apples) was perfect for lunch, with a venere rice (risotto like) as side dish. I also tasted the panna Cotta which was allright. The restaurant is well located in the center, offers a sunny...terrace and the service is fair. The prices are a bit high though, but the menu is original and I think that's the reason.

Agréable moment passé dans cet établissement! Le service était au top, jeune serveuse très sympa et arrangeante. Les plats sont bons et accessibles. Superbe sauce (champignon trompette de la mort)A recommander
