Bidrage med feedbackOn the way to england with our sons van on the airbnb on the way to england and asked the owner for recommendations, was either a crepperie in the village or here, unless we wanted to drive to cambrai. as satisfied we went here as it was near the channel / rover and very full of natives, which proved to be a very good sign. fantastic eating too very cheap trips. also very friendly.
Can find a little tricky, but it is worth it. excellent eating and wine. not very expensive (approx. £25 per head)
Staying at the nearby chambre d'hotes of Bonavis, we had a tasty meal at this restaurant, which is tucked quietly away in the countryside. All the courses were written on blackboards, although several items needed explanations as they had unusual names French people sitting...at a nearby table also had to ask what things were. We had an apero, 2 courses, a glass of wine each and coffees, and the bill was a very reasonable amount. A young man was the only waiter, and he coped well with all the tables, was helpful and professional.
I ate at this restaurant in July 2013 with my two teenage children not the most adventurous eaters. We had two amazing meals here, and the welcome we received from the two ladies who worked so hard running the restaurant was lovely. They serve...simple, locally sourced, good french food. And at a price that was quite reasonable. i think I spent about 60 euros on the meal for the three of us. One word of warning, its not open early in the week and at the weekend you'd do well to book. we couldn't get in on a Saturday night, but came back twice the following week. In an area without a huge amount of competition it is a gem of a find.
