Velvette - Les Gets

We had a great meal here, lots of interesting food and the menu is marked up with gluten free options which included tacos, sashimi and pork fillet. A great location on the high street and friendly staff.

Good range on menu, reasonably priced for Les Gets, friendly staff , good service. Recommend the pitta wrap and curry

The one star is for the fabulous front of house team. Simply gorgeous. The food was frankly extremely poor. Expensive for what was delivered, then either tactless or combinations that simply do not work. Sheep milk cheese with soya shitake mushrooms and tzatziki for one. Certainly not what was described enthusiastically as a today special. The pastry selection looked copious, and Indeed the size and heaviness of a brike. Despite the lovely staff. I would rather starve than return.

We ordered some crayfish raviolis for 6 for new years eve. Not only was it uncooked, it was also soaked in a really heavy cream which made it impossible to eat. Very expensive too. There is a lot of hype around this concept store where you can buy anything from pizza to notebooks to plates and cakes. Maybe they should stick to one thing they do well...

Un super endroit, délicieux, fait maison, copieux! Les desserts sont à tomber par terre!!!! Les sirops naturels, la carte change tout le temps! Un vrai régal!
