Le Schuss Mont Vallon - Les Allues

Very friendly and warm welcome, but our room was a little dated and the lighting and sockets are not really up to standard. Another subject, the brasserie l'Authentique where we dined with again very friendly service, served us a Savoyard fondue more expensive than anywhere else which must undoubtedly have been a sachet fondue from the mass market because, being Savoyard, I know how to recognize a real fondue from a ready made one; we had the opportunity to taste another one near the hotel which had nothing to do fortunately with that of l'Authentique. To accompany it, we took a Chignin, unfortunately an uninteresting cooperative wine but charged €41 when two restaurants in Méribel and Mottaret offered us a Chignin from André Quénard which was an aromatic marvel at a price of €27 and €31. I imagine that most foreigners don't notice anything but I find that it harms the image of MontVallon. That being said, I would not hesitate to return to the hotel which is really very pleasant and so well located. Thank you to the whole team for their welcome and see you soon I hope. Our stay at Hotel Mont Vallon was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a memorable experience. With cozy furnishings and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, our room provided a tranquil retreat after a day on the slopes. The true ski-in and ski-out convenience was invaluable. Being able to step directly onto the slopes from the hotel made our ski days incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The customer service was outstanding throughout our stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, from offering local recommendations to answering all of our questions. The ambiance of the hotel was enchanting, with its rustic yet elegant décor creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether relaxing in the lounge area by the fireplace or enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant, every moment felt like a retreat from the ordinary. Last but not least, the sauna provided the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall, Hotel Mont Vallon exceeded our expectations in every aspect. For anyone seeking a perfect ski getaway, I absolutely recommend this hotel. With its impeccable room quality, unbeatable ski-in and ski-out convenience, exceptional customer service, charming ambiance, and indulgent sauna facilities, it's truly a gem in the heart of the mountains.

This is a superb hotel which is ideally located on the slopes just a few metres away from the lifts. The location is perfect. The food was really good quality and you feel like you’re in a top class restaurant. The best part of the hotel, however, is its staff. Everyone was very friendly and kind. A special mention to Marion and Max from the bar. They were excellent and made our stay even more special! Thank you!

Could not recommend Hotel Mont Vallon very much. The staff is as good as any hotel I have spent all over the world. Super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for the slopes and the elevator.
