The staff are all in retro uniforms (looked like Allo Allo to me) and were charming. The indoors is that used a bit faded perfect French country restaurant style with scratched wood etc my favourite. Food choice good, service fast and we left full enough and happy. What more to ask for?
Now that the Cro Magnon next door has changed hands, we thought we'd try La Tablee, and weren't disappointed. The food is more refined than the Cro, and although the portions are not gargantuan, the quality and sophistication makes up for it. More fine-dining than rustic, and highly recommended
We dined at La Table when the menu was restricted to Savoyard only. For our pastis aperitifs we were ushered into the main lounge of the Hotel Alpen Ruitor, which is all in wood, with high ceilings painted with stags and ibex. As seemed appropriate we chose a traditional fondue Savoyarde which was excellent. Unusually we drank red wine with the fondue and enjoyed a very good Fitou. For dessert my creme brûlée was flamboyantly set alight at the table! My partner had the cafe gourmand which had a wonderful array of mini desserts. Altogether a really enjoyable experience!
A very good restaurant to spend an excellent time. Everything was perfect from the cocktail glass with apricot crumble. the omble fillets were perfectly cooked with excellent sauce. The bar was also at the top with a tapade at the top.The service is of a prevenance and exquisite kindness.
A top child menu with something other than fried nuggets! The girls love! very good refined and original dishes, a more hearty hair and that would be perfect! We'll be back!
