Grubbs Take Away - Leonia

I'm really confused about this place. First off I have to say that they are really having trouble getting their act together. Almost every single order that I've placed they've either forgotten something or gotten something wrong. I will say most of the things we've had on the menu have been pretty good especially breakfast except you can't get breakfast now because they open at 5 PM. Yes 5pm???? Everyone that's found out about this in town is completely confused by this. Are they trying to be a late night diner. The only time I've ordered from them was between 9 AM and 3 PM so I think they're really screwing themselves by not being open until 5 PM. I think they need to realize they are a breakfast and lunch place not a dinner place

I love this place. I order from here at all times of the day/ night. The food is ALWAYS comes warm and delicious. I ordered a taylor ham sandwich and it was everything I wanted. I also ordered a smoothie that they adorably kept in a little ice bucket upon delivery!!! Their fries are to die for. My only complaint is the high delivery fee, but it's worth it. Highly recommend.

Really considered upping to 3-4 stars until today. Ordered last night. Food was early. Way earlier than usual. My food was actually hot too. Up until today. I packed away the chicken strips I hadn't opened to eat as a snack at work today. Halfway through my second piece I feel a weird stabbing pain and metallic taste. At first I think a filling from years ago must have broken or come undone. Nope. It was a staple. A staple in my food stabbing me in the gum. This will be my last time ordering from here. Hopefully their kitchen staff gets their act together.

I found a BUG in one of the burgers! I ordered food from this place a month ago through Grubhub! The fries were burnt and two burgers were a mess. Half way through, I found a bug in my burger. I called them and the guy hung up the phone! The health department should shut down this place.

I strongly advise against this restaurant. The food is terrible, and the owner exhibits concerning behavior. After I voiced my concerns about the food, he responded in a disrespectful manner, even making racist comments. I don't want to risk having anything unusual in my meals or deal with an erratic owner, so I won't be returning. Do yourself a favor and skip this place to protect your time and well-being.
