We went ash boarding with our 2 boys (10 12). The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. They offered to carry the boys boards up the volcano for just $5 (paid directly to a local), which made the trekking experience much more enjoyable. The price is a great deal when you consider everything you get (transport, guide, equipment, t-shirts, snacks, drinks afterwards and a lunch back at home base).

I stayed there for a few nights an would recommend it to everybody. The dorms are nice and clean and the fact that they are located in the back of the building was comfortable, so you wouldn't get the noise from the busy bar and restaurant. Over all a very nice place to stay

Look no further, you’ve found the best place in Leon! The rooms are clean and spacious, we loved the garden in between the rooms to relax and read a book in the rocking chairs. The bar has a nice vibe, locals and travellers mix here, which gives it an authentic vibe. The food is great! Staff is super friendly and helpful!

Amazing place! Great atmosphere, cold beers and live music! It was great to see so many local people here and nice to mingle with them, you rarely see that at a hostel. The staff are super friendly and can help arrange any tour you want, and the rooms are clean and at the back of the building so it’s nice and quiet. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Volcano boarding on the overnight stay on El Hoyo volcano was an amazing experience! The service offered was spectacular; our tour guide, Pier, Gabriel and Jonas, worked so hard to help us have a good experience. They helped us with the tents, they helped with all the food, and were extremely attentive to our group's needs. The hike was very difficult and awesome views!! Highly recommend!
