The best coffee we had in all of Nicaragua, plus the service, food and atmosphere were sublime. A seriously top tier cafe. We had breakfast here all 5 days we were there. The team are so lovely thank you Mañana Mañana!
3 stars for the food and value, but 5 stars for the most lovely staff who were thoughtful enough to bring us glasses of ice for our water bottles that we had carried in. The little things
Best breakfast and lunch place of Leon. The service, especially Angel, was outstanding. He was on top of everything, it was fast, the avocado toast was super fresh and the waffles were nice and fluffy. There are enough options for vegans as well, including soy milk for coffee. The quality of the coffee is good, with the right about of milk in your macchiato.
Manana Manana Cafe located opposite the Real y Insigne Basilica, was exactly what this hot and sweaty woman needed in the rising humidity. I retreated to the quiet, leafy courtyard at the rear, placed an order for a milk banana smoothie and papas with salsa which was actually tomato sauce and mayonnaise in little bowls). I was given the wifi passcode and just like that I can enjoy Leon. With the gentle background music that doesn’t inhibit my phone conversation with others, I watched the comings and going’s of this little cafe. Manana has a real funky, laid back vibe and would fit into the Melbourne coffee culture scene seamlessly. Prices are reasonable $150 Cordoba $5.50 Australian $4.20 USA. Portion size as expected and was all I needed. The menu has the usual burgers and sweet treats, so enough to choose from. Staff were lovely and quick to place and serve orders. Their English is also very good considering my Spanish is rusty. Plus they let me snap a team photo of them. If I’m ever back in Leon again, it’ll be on my hit list. If you haven’t been here, make it happen you won’t be disappointed.
