Trattoria Il Vesuvio - Lenox

The Italian food at this restaurant is exceptional, with a rich red sauce that stands out. The service was good, and the atmosphere was great. While the location may be interesting, it is the overall atmosphere that truly shines.

We had not visited this restaurant in a couple of years, but we were thrilled to return. It is located on Route 7 at the northern edge of Lenox, boasting a beautiful location.

As mentioned in another review, even a decent home cook can make Italian food, so there is an expectation for something unique when dining at an Italian restaurant. Whether it be bruschetta or pasta with tomato sauce.

Pleasantly surprised. we all had different escapes and all were good. many vegetarian options. arancini was also good.

Excellent eating, charming environment, a word of intention very difficult to get in and out. the grilled aubergines served cool, it was a little heavy on the vinegar. salate with broken ricotta was excellent. the main course was osso bucco, which was perfected, served with a rich chuteritotto. we also had fruitti de mare, which was well valued, and linguini and meatballs that were also enjoyed.
