The meat is cooked to perfection, falling apart with each bite. The freshly baked bun provides a sturdy base, soaking up all the savory juices. And let's not forget the Godfather sandwich a perfectly balanced blend of meats, cheeses, and sauces that will satisfy even the biggest appetites. The combination of flavors and textures is simply delightful. The salty, tangy, and sweet notes harmonize in perfect unison. Both sandwiches are expertly crafted and a testament to the Grinder's culinary prowess. The attention to detail and dedication to quality shine through in every aspect. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by for a truly memorable sandwich experience! The Grove Grinder is a must visit destination for any sandwich enthusiast.
This place is a hidden gem for me. I've seen it in the past driving before and you can tell it's something special just by seeing the outside. I'm glad that I finally made a point to finally visit. All of the Sandwiches are super bomb! So good!!! The price is great and the portions are huge. Please support this local business it will be worth it.
I was in the area finally and this was on my list to try out. Wowsers. It’s got that perfect mom and pop sandwich shop you long for. I ordered the half Godfather and it was the most loaded and delicious sandwich you can get in the San Diego area. Hands down. Game over. Their root beer selection is the best, too. You can’t not try here.
Family owned business and they absolutely show it!!! These guys have great food and great service!!!
This place is awesome. An old fashioned Grandma's home styled setting. So much down home style atmosphere. The people are so friendly and helpful. While I was outside taking pictures of the establishment, The older gentleman who made my sandwich actually came outside and handed me my order. I call the real personal service. I knew about this place for over 40 years, but never visited it until today 10/08/23. The security bars on the windows threw me off. It's a Gem in disguise. I wish I would have visited this place over 40 years ago.
