Chef John's Fish Chips - Lemon Grove

This is the best fish and chips in San Diego County! I've been to the Pacific Northwest, and this place stands up to those famous fish and chips spots. Everything was fantastic. You absolutely have to try it—you won’t regret it!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The hush puppies, fish, and fried zucchini were fantastic! Fresh and flavorful, and I particularly loved the malt vinegar! The restaurant was spotless as well. Thank you! I will definitely be back!

It is a good fish and chip place. Food is fresh and cooked to order. It's rather expensive for what it is. The interior is seriously outdated.

Freshest fish and chips you can get in Lemon Grove. The cook won't make it until you're done ordering, so it will come out extra crispy and hot. Their price has risen a lot since pre-pandemic so I don't come here as often as before but regardless of price, they're the best in town in my opinion if you're craving for fish and chips.
