The Joyce Irish Pub - Leland

We were excited to try this restaurant when we visited the neighborhood. The outdoor atmosphere was inviting, but we ended up sitting at the bar. It wasn't crowded, yet the service was extremely slow and the ambiance was lacking. While the food was enjoyable, we waited 40 minutes before the bartender finally informed us that they had mixed up our order with takeout for some regulars at the bar. It felt quite frustrating to witness that happen right in front of us. When we received the check, they offered us a 3% discount on our drinks, but overall, we were disappointed with the experience. We definitely won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to others.

I rated this 3 stars 2 years ago, why the change? The service was much improved and the food is decent. There is ample parking and they have nightly specials. We had the meatloaf, chicken pie, and a fish and chips. The portions were good and they were good. If your in Leland give it a try.

Delicious food and drinks, great service. Only concern is that I played 4 songs on touchstones but someone started playing ad couldn't hear my music, money wasted.

I paid $16.49 for lunch, and after that, we decided to go elsewhere for a lunch special half the price at Pizettas. I understand that inflation has affected everyone, but that still feels like a lot for lunch. This place really needs to consider adjusting its prices. I’m giving it 4 stars, though, because the last time I ate here, years ago, it was delicious.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was tasty, but it would have earned a 5-star rating if the fries had been served hot. Hopefully, next time!
