Fela - Leipzig

Ambientated and well-thought food at a fair price. Compared with some Schiki-Micki restaurants or Wantgern-Steakhouses in the city centre, the FELA is a secret tip. Again...

I've been visiting the fela for over 10 years. It has changed over time. Beloved is now the bowl principle: put many different dishes served in small bowls together; pay by number of peels. The quality of the food is still good to very good and creative that is what I appreciate at the restaurant. The service is friendly, but not very attentive. Examples: Five times the hand raised to alert me that I need something No look, no reaction. Service power comes to the table to e.g. raise dirty dishes, our all glasses at the table are empty. She takes the dishes and goes without asking if we still have a drink request (and yes, we had). This makes the visit a bit exhausting overall when you have to pay attention to the operation. At least it reduces the desire to remain on a goose.

Well... the menu is very clear, I had problems finding something for me, everywhere are experimental exponents that I personally felt as disturbing. You need to like this, but 1-2 normal dishes without schicki-micki you can already put on the map. I ordered the fatucin with fire beans and a kind of tomato sauce (only to express it). They were ok and had a pleasant sharpening, but 16€ this food is absolutely not worth for me. If I find myself overpriced, it was also not an ingredient that could somehow justify such a high price. The selection of drinks was huge and the drinks were mixed well, there is nothing to complain about. The ambience is very cozy and pleasant, I liked it. The operation was very nice, but the orders lasted very long. Even for simple bottle beer we had to wait for the 15 minutes. It was full, but I think it was a long time ago. All in all the food has cost, it was ok, but who likes it more down to earth is certainly better somewhere else.
