Bidrage med feedbackI had a good Caesar salad for lunch here. Not particularly atmospheric but friendly, efficient and not too expensive. Recommended.
We spotted the Cafe Kandler near the Nikolaikirche on our walking tour and were attracted by the old facade so went back for coffee and cakes. The interior is also very interesting and old-fashioned.Although the place was very busy and the waitress "in stress" she was still very friendly and organised. Both cakes we chose from the vitrine were delicious and we also were able to get some traditional "Lerchen" (larks) cakes - with marzipan filling - to take with us.Would definitely return. If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate your vote.
This is a cafe located at the back of St Thomas church. I tried their famous Leipziger Lerchen, which is a soft pastry. It is delicious and does not taste too sweet.
This coffee is in a very good location and you have to admit - the ambiance is cosy ! Cakes are good - not extraordinary but worth their price - and coffees were ok, but too much cream for me. Price was a bit too much - 5 euros for a coffee with Eierlikor und Sahne is a bit expensive for Leipzig. Good place if you want to have a cosy coffee time with your loved one :)
We had breakfast for two with my husband. Food was very good, staff competent and kind. We didn't have to wait for a table or service.
