Leikanger Fjord Hotell

Our experience at Leikanger Fjord Hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, the service was excellent, and the location was stunning. I want to give a special thank you to Grete, who went out of her way to help me retrieve my insulin that I had accidentally left behind. She arranged for it to be sent to me via a Ferry, which I found to be a truly exceptional display of hospitality and kindness. Thank you once again for not only providing us with a wonderful stay, but also for your exceptional care and service.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were spotless. Upon request, they provided an electric kettle. The breakfast was delicious and you could enjoy it outside by the lake.

The hotel was very basic and had not been updated since the 1970s. The room had small single beds and outdated furniture. When we arrived late, we were told to go to the supermarket for food.

The hotel lies on the northern bank of Sognefjord. The place is quite and gives the traveler a very Norwegian experience. The older part of the hotel has antique furniture. In the evening there was a buffet dinner with good food and reasonable price.

Super lovely staff, very helpful. The beds are very confy. Amazing view. The terrace is beautiful. Great breakfast aswell.
