Walnut Fish - Leicester

The food was mediocre with very small portions. The staff were extremely impolite and barely acknowledged any of the customers, including myself. Additionally, I was surprised to find out that the restaurant had a 1-star food hygiene rating. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. I had passed by numerous times before finally deciding to order from their fish bar take away that also serves tikka, tandoori, and doner dishes. I opted for the chicken tikka naan, which came with a variety of sauce options. I added garlic mayo and chili sauce, which complemented the dish well. The serving size was substantial and I couldn't even finish it all. I enjoyed the menu and plan to try more items during my time in the area.

We noticed a line outside of this fish and chip restaurant while heading to the football game. We were glad we decided to wait in line! The haddock and chips were excellent, with a tasty batter. This is the perfect spot to grab a bite before the match!
