Vishal - Leicester

I am an old Leicestrian but who has been living in London since 2002. I nevertheless come back home to Leicester at least once a year in order to dine at the Vishal. I first ate at the Vishal in May of 1987 and in all my travels I have never tasted better Indian food and delivered with better service, led by Taporsch who has been there for decades. When living in Leicester I used to eat at the Vishal every week, now, sadly, less often but it never disappoints; superb quality ingredients, cooked and served to perfection and consistency of quality always maintained. My favourite dishes there the Chicken Tikka the world's best ! And the Kulfi simply has to be tasted to be believed. Long Live The Vishal.

Been going to Vishals since I was a baby and it has never changed! The staff are very polite and very helpful. The food is always spot on every time we go, with lovely fresh and well priced food. I have never had a bad experience at the Vishals restaurant! My favourite dish is the chicken madras which I would highly recommend! You most definitely won't be disappointed with your experience here!

Just visited Vishal’s for the first time and definitely won’t be the last, fantastic service and food. Every item that was put on the table was first class and their Peshawar naan is second to none as is the home made Kulfi. If you are looking for a very well run restaurant then look no further. The staff are so welcoming and friendly nothing is too much trouble.

I have tried many curry houses in leicester it is up at the top with the likes of paddy martens herb etc very enjoyable delicious) and the presentation for a takeaway was very good aloo gobi there lamb methi was beautiful as was all the food we ordered thanks

The staff at this restaurant are always friendly, helpful, courteous, and kind. The food is consistently delicious and the prices are fair. There's really nothing else to say.
