Bidrage med feedbackThe portions at this restaurant are neatly presented with beautiful bread to accompany them. The food appears to be healthy with minimal oil, which is great. Additionally, it is very affordable. I found the flavors to be rich and full, and the lentils had a lovely texture. The man even gave me a complimentary dessert. How nice!
I highly recommend this restaurant for its fresh and delicious main dishes under £4. I will definitely be returning again...and again!
This is a real juwel, also among the many great places leicester has to eat. it is completely vegetarian, with soouo many vegan options. we were really pampered for the election, and I'll go to leicester the next time. the prices are also very low and the portions are very generous. the staff was nice and helpful when we asked about vegan dishes.
Whenever I visit Leicester, I always make sure to stop by Sardaar for a delicious meal. This vegetarian Punjabi restaurant is mostly vegan-friendly, with some dishes containing milk products. However, it is easy to identify which items are vegan as the staff are happy to advise. Sardaar is a no-frills restaurant that serves excellent Punjabi cuisine at a very affordable price. I have been working my way through the vegan-friendly options on the menu, and everything I have tried has been fantastic. The aubergine dish is a personal favorite, but the pumpkin kofta, aubergine and potato curry, and samosas are all excellent choices as well.
Note that this is a basic caffe without arguing, instead of a chic restaurant. I wasn't sure if I was to order at the counter or find a table. I sat and waited to be noticed and my order was taken soon after the arrival. next time. Also note that alcohol is not served. I didn't ask for byo. I chose 3 x samosas, Chana mix (with lenses) curry and 2 chapatis together with a diet coke for only £7.50 the entire vegetarian menu does not mark the vegan dishes, but the owner was happy to confirm that. that came fast, all at once. the samosas were delicious and the curry was also good. I would go back.
