This place is a gem, real professional patisserie nothing to fault. We treated the whole family to cupcakes and brownies. A real treat!

Ordered a Chocolate Devine birthday cake after seeing the store featured on Nadiyas TV programme. Positive point : The name says it all, it was simply divine. My husband is very peaky with cake and absolutely loved it all finished their plates!! It was light, delicate and well balanced. Negative point : Customer communication could be improved Order processing went well, however difficult to speak to anyone as it's online. When I got an email confirmation the answer was extremely short, I didn't know who wrote back to me, asking for a bank transfer, could have been anyone! The email was very dry and lacked of friendliness. At pick up the lady at the till looked miserable and didn't know the balance to pay and didn't advice on how to store the cake. As a premium patisserie you would expect the best customer communication at every point!

Orders a cake from this establishment as I been to the shop many times and it was always been extremely positive with amazing cup cakes etc Decided to order my daughters birthday cake in the most roundabout way with emails back and forth. The day of the collection, went to pick it up and first impressions cake looked amazing however there was a hair in the box. Totally put me off (the staff more than apologised gave cupcakes and macarons to make up for it. Which I thought was a nice gesture. If it weren’t for the urgency of the party, I wouldn’t have taken it with me. While at the party, started cutting the cake and the icing was stodgy almost artificial to the taste. There was no flavour to the Chocolate sponge. Very disappointing. Nothing like the cakes I have had at the store! Emailed Nailah for a compensation or something. Received a very cut and dry response. Frankly, the worst response I have ever had saying there’s nothing they could do and as the staff offered me a couple of cup cakes and 3 macaroons that was the compensation and if I’m to order again they could offer some discounts. It’s an absolute joke! Never again will I ever go to this ridiculous shop, waste my money and order any cakes!

This was an amazing cake I put the numbers on !!! Customer service was first class especially as I don’t live in the UK so communication was mainly through email. Nothing was too much trouble and the cake exceeded my expectations 100%. My mum absolutely loved it and all the family commented that it was the best cake they had ever tasted Thankyou Baker St Cakes

I we have had their cakes on numerous occasions, this photo is regarding the first time I have tried them. The cakes are tasty and fresh, proper French style. A good balance of flavours and sweetness, regularly changing option wise. The coffee was good, staff nice and patient I do like to take my time . Slightly overpriced for Leicester and in comparison to the other 2 places that I prefer while there, yet I wish to believe I’m paying for quality and that great things come in small sizes.
