Olde Schoolhouse Tavern - Lehighton

My husband and I hit Pappy's on a Friday night after a long week at work and before a concert at Penn's Peak. I had the Rachel and hubs had the cheese steak . Great comfort food. Great service, we sat at the bar and were immediately served drinks and food came out of the kitchen timely and so yummy! Love that they smoke their meats. We were so happy to find this place and will return! Maybe tonight!

Ordered a medium steak that came out as tough as shoe leather. I couldn't even chew it. Sent it back and asked for something else. The chef sent the waitress back out to tell me he won't take it off the bill because he said it was cooked correctly. .... I have to pay for an inedible steak. Beyond ridiculous. Eat somewhere else. The waitress was very nice.

Took a chance on Pappy's and so glad we did! Awesome burger! Really great service!

A great local spot. Food was amazing. Service was great too !!! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and welcoming environment.

It was a busy night due to a show just a few miles down the road at Penns peak. The staff was friendly but they could have had more wait staff. Despite that the food was good and the waitress did a marvelous job trying to wait on everyone in a timely manner. I would definitely go back again.
