Village Baker - Lehi

The carrot cake was incredible! The frosting was wonderfully creamy, and the cake itself was delicious and just right. The sandwich soup was also excellent; the avocado was spot on, and the soup was served hot and creamy.

I'm from Arizona and wanted to try a more local sandwich, and I’m so glad I did! Everything was delicious and fresh, and the accuracy of my order was 110%. The packaging was excellent as well. I will definitely be ordering from here again before I head home. I tried a larger order that included Garlic Bread with Cheese, Southwest Chicken Salad, Club Provolone, Soup Selection, a Kids Menu Grilled Cheese, and Chicken Caesar Salad.

The food is absolutely delicious, but I really wish there were more options for customization. I requested no tomatoes in the additional options, but that was overlooked. It would be fantastic to have the ability to remove specific toppings, like many other restaurants offer. That said, the food is so good that I could never rate it lower than 5 stars.

Overall, everything fell short. We normally love Village Baker, but the sandwich bread was stale, barely meat on the sandwich (looked like they just put on the scraps they had left at the end of the night), and the salad was sparse with what tasted like sour romaine. We were pretty disappointed.

Severely disappointed in the gelatinous, gloopy, tasteless slop called clam chowder. I honestly don apos;t understand how it has so little flavor. There is so little turkey on this sandwich that there are several places where it apos;s just cream cheese and bread. Overpriced for what you pay for it. The quality keeps getting worse and the prices increases. They apos;ve permanently lost a costumer after this debacle.
