Riverina Curry House - LEETON

The cheese and garlic naan was outstanding; I highly recommend it. The rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection. However, my lamb korma had an overwhelming amount of cardamom, making it taste almost like hand sanitizer. I'm not sure if the chef lacked experience with curry or if they had indulged a bit too much. They need to improve on that.

The exterior of the building is not appealing, and the interior decor is quite plain, resembling a kebab shop. However, the goat curry I ordered to take away was impressive, with a generous portion and extraordinarily rich flavors. The focus here is certainly on the food.

The food was decent but not remarkable. The vindaloo curry I ordered was lacking in heat and didn't quite meet my expectations for a proper vindaloo, despite my request for a spicy version. They have kebabs on the menu as well, which I plan to try in the future. However, when it comes to truly authentic Indian curries, I think I'll look for alternatives elsewhere.
