Bidrage med feedbackFirst Friday Leesburg. Big voucher if you need the number on the wall. Had the classic meatballs with marinara and a field green salad. Meatballs are beautifully seasoned and field greens were fresh with oil-based dressing. Food in is on metal stool on wooden counters and tables in the adjoining room. Friendly staff. I'd eat here again!
Really firm place that makes you a good thing. I tried wool lamb and narrow balls and they were definitely top animal. Great mix of high-end concepts and a street food presentation. Enough to go back and try the traditional options. A great addition to Leesburg. Curtis also runs Delirium Cafe on the street and earns a lot of credit for this Leesburg cultural Renaissance.
Good value despite other comments. $11 for 3 meatballs and a salad. Okay, apart from the bread crumbs in the meatballs, a good low coal, keto meal. Get the salad. Field green was good. Could have used one, but more taste for olive oil dressing. Line and service was fast despite an LARGE participation on the first Friday. I got the classic and it had a little spice, but not much for my spicy sensitive girlfriend. Marinara was okay, didn't exaggerate the meatballs. Add a little more taste to the salad dressing and maybe work on the marinara, and I can give this to stars. What I will give five stars is the staff. Friendly and responsive. Nice outside seats.
Friend and I went in for lunch and were happy with our meatball sandwiches. Both were juicy and flavorful. We agreed it was worth a revisit. I think people need to calm down with the price if the food as its not McDonald's. 4 stars because the furniture is a but tacky.
I had the lamb meatballs with the rosemary sauce, and mixed greens. Let me start with the fact that I absolutely LOVE lamb. But this lamb was something close to a pate. I think it was however they mixed the meat, but the texture was extremely undesirable and I couldn't finish it. What's worse is that I couldn't even taste the lamb. In regards to the sauce, they put far too much on the meatball. It was completely smothered, and also tasteless. The two good things I will say are that the side salad that I had was extremely good, and they had very good customer service. I will probably give this place another try, but I won't be getting their lamb ever again.
