Lamar's Donuts And Coffee

I had a craving for a delicious donut experience, and that’s exactly what I got. The fresh donuts left me completely satisfied and eager to return as soon as possible. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since I'm often indecisive. They kindly assisted me in choosing some of my new favorite treats. If I could give a 10-star rating, I definitely would!

The product here is excellent, but it appears that there is a significant issue with employee morale. It seems like they really don't enjoy their work. While reading through various reviews, I noticed a concerning pattern regarding customer service at this location. It’s unfortunate that the donuts can’t prepare themselves; maybe these employees would thrive in a job that better matches their skills, as working with customers definitely isn't their strong suit.

What more can be said about Lamars? Over the years, I’ve visited many of the trendy donut shops that pop up across the country, often featured on TV for their wild new creations. However, I believe they all fall short when compared to Lamars. I’m not a fan of donuts overloaded with candy or crushed cereal. To me, the true measure of a donut shop's skill lies in their plain glazed donut, which really shows the quality difference between franchises. A few years ago, it was disappointing when Lamars changed ownership and prices soared, yet the quality has remained consistent. I can’t indulge in donuts often for health reasons, but on those rare occasions when I treat myself, I’m happy to pay a little extra—75 cents more—for a Lamars donut compared to a grocery store option. Any establishment that can consistently draw a crowd after being in the same spot for years earns my admiration.

I absolutely adore LaMar's Donuts! Although this location is small and somewhat off the beaten path, the donuts are just as delicious as ever! If you haven't tried a LaMar's donut yet, I highly recommend starting with the glazed variety—it's incredibly soft and delectable! After that, it becomes quite challenging to make a selection. They offer a wide range of choices, but it's definitely worth it!
