Jose Pepper's Mexican - Lees Summit

Very popular place during lunch today. Fortunately, we went to 11:30 before I was busy. Sam, waiting for us, was excellent and so polite. It took a while before the food came out, a little longer than I would expect. It was fresh and hot. Good taste. Some of the tortilla chips were stabbed.

Food and drinks were fantastic. I had the Baja Burrito! ? Would 've been 5 stars had the waitress not delivered check prematurely with the comment no rush and then obviously rush to be paid.

Had an amazing margarita to start. Food was phenomenal. I'll definitely be back. Closest to Texas tex-mex I've had. The masa was a delightful treat.

We sat at the bar and had good service. The corona shrimp tacos were to die for! Best shrimp taco I?ve ever had. Ask for the spicy hot sauce :

Sorry didn't eat here dishes was too dirty. We sent the silverware back twice. In the end we asked for plastic ware in closer packaging. All dished run through the same dishwasher so you tell me what the deal was here. The family decided to eat here. I myself took a rain check. The food did look good. I will try them again some other day, just not today.
