The Roundhay Fox - Leeds

The food and service at this restaurant were both average and overpriced for the quality. I will not be returning anytime soon, especially since it is just a short walk away.

Booked a table through the app specifically to try the vegan menu. They said there was no table booked and restaurant was full. Staff were verging on rude and extremely slow. Waited 12 minutes at bar to order our food, when it came starter had sides missing. Food was actually good but it was a really disappointing visit, understaffed and inexperienced staff

Everything was great. Especially the service. The only thing I would say slightly let the side down was the roast potatoes, they just weren’t very crispy at all! Usually they are fine though.

We made a booking for the 27th December and turned up and waited by the desk. We waited ten minutes and nobody came so we left and went elsewhere.

Mains arrived nearly 2h after ordering. Not enough front-of-house staff. All meals were so well done. The fish required a steak knife to cut. Was inedible. The gravy on another couldn’t hide how poor the pork belly was. All in all it was a terrible meal and all tables around us were suffering the same. I should have read reviews here, it turns out this isn’t an isolated incident. We left without ordering dessert and didn’t pay for such poor food.
