Bidrage med feedbackAfter a harassing journey and long wait to get into the nearby car park for a First Direct Arena concert we only had a short time before it started. Service was really fast, pleasant helpful staff, loads of fillings I had prawn salad and hubby had hot chicken) and great value for money
I work near the Arena and myself and colleague venture over the road to here most days! The chap who runs trhe business (Philip) is a lovelu lovely guy who gebuinely wants to provide a decent service to people with good old fashioned proper sandwiches and not charge extortionate prices! The quality of all the ingredients is second to nonw, lovely bread and the fillings of the sandwiches are always excellent from hot beef, pork and chicken to coronation chicken, ham, tune etc. There isn 't a massive board of options but then it isn 't that sort of place. It does people 's favourites and does them very well. You get a loyalty card which is stamped each time you go in and after 5 stamps you get a free sandwich jacket potato or whatever equivalent for free! Always happy to help and I would recommend ringing and ordering if there is something that you really want as they get so busy at lunch time they have ruin out of the key fillings!! Hot Beef and Chilli goes quickly! Not gimmicky just decent food at a good price and from genuinely lovely people!! Thumbs up!!
Called here before a concert at the First Direct Arena. The food was excellent pulled pork sandwich served by very pleasant staff, who were keen to make sure you were happy. Plenty of filling and nicely cooked, convenient seating outside, perfect for a 'quick bite '. Would definitely use again.
I visited this restaurant once for a quick sandwich on my way to work and I will definitely be back. The sandwich had twice as much sausage and bacon as other local shops, and the sausage was of good quality and tasted delicious.
During our time in Leeds, we noticed this restaurant several times and decided to stop in before hitting the road with empty stomachs. Unfortunately, our experience didn't start off on the best note. The cashier seemed disinterested and a bit irritated for unknown reasons. Arriving just before 11 am meant that some breakfast items were no longer available, but we found suitable alternatives. Additionally, the restaurant was in need of change, which didn't bode well. However, once our food arrived, any initial concerns were quickly forgotten. The sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. The cashier had also noticeably improved her attitude - perhaps she was just having a bad day? Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. Just make sure you have change on hand, and if you're craving a breakfast sandwich, arrive before 11 am.
