Poor service. We sat outside with our dog and drinks, after asking for a menu and browsing ready to order but no one returned to take our order. It then started to rain so moved inside then was told to go back out and use...

I had booked a table and on arrival asked if we could sit outside...yes.I ordered drinks and asked for them to be.put on the bill..no.I asked for menues..no..the waitress would bring them After 15mins we waited and waited..after 40mins I saw other people having orders...

Came for lunch on Friday with my friend. Amazing food , amazing service they were really friendly and couldn’t do enough 10/10 Well done Bankhouse I am impressed!!

Today my birthday was my 2nd visit to the Bankhouse. My 1st visit was on the 14th May for my daughter's birthday, I was so impressed with the food and service plus very pleasant efficient staff that I decided to have my birthday treat here too. For the 2nd time I chose the Rib eye steak at a cost of £21.95 it was just as good as my first visit. A real generous plate of food served with home made chips, mushroom, tomatoes, salad and the best onion rings I have ever had! Even the sauce Diane was delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection hence my 5* rating. I look forward to my next visit. The only downside was I was too full on both occasions to try the desserts! Thank you for an excellent meal!

Been here twice since it reopened and both times it was brilliant. Really lovely venue, food was delicious though portions are big! Did like that some dishes came with option of smaller portion. Staff seemed very pleasant and accommodating even though it was busy. Beautiful views out into the countryside and lots of parking too.
