Priory - Leeds

We were really looking forward to lunch but the service was really slow our mains came before the starter and we then had to wait again for that to be sorted the food was warm (not hot) so all in all very disappointing for the cost it wasn’t even busy so really no excuse ? We had Two burgers and 2 fish chips With 1 bottle of wine, 2 cokes and 4 coffees the bill was over £170 which would have been ok if the meal had been served properly

Overpriced pub fayre really, we had burger that was way over cooked so dry and unappetising. Starters were ok but it’s hard to mess up bread.

Very rarely have I came across such incompetence. If this was a supercheap, low level establishment I could almost understand but it's not cheap and not low level. Starters ordered calamari which came heavily battered and fried but worst of all clletelt covered in a terrible pink sauce. Looked awful and possible to eat. This was returned The other starter was poched pear and blue chesse which while tasty was absolutely miniscule (and not a low price! They completely forgot one of our drinks we only ordered two! Mains were decent (but potato's hard with fish . Completely forgot the sides we ordered, I had to raise attention and by the time they decided to sort it out the mains were finished so no sense to have them. Really disappointed

The restaurant has certainly upped its game, lovely atmosphere with food that was well presented, tasty and an ample portion size we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with excellent attentive service from Lucy, well done.

Pre order and served fairly well present but cafe standard rather than restaurant. Breakfast was good
