MEATliquor - Leeds

My friends and I dined at this restaurant last night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the food and service. The burgers and fries we ordered were all cold and extremely salty, making them inedible. The cheese and onion fries we ordered were soggy, salty, cold, and covered in bottled squeezy cheese, making it difficult to enjoy. The prices were also exorbitant, with £7.50 for the fries and £12.75 for a glass of wine. The servers simply dropped off our food without plates, and we had to ask for them. They never came back to check on us, only appearing again when it was time to present the bill with a £21 tip added. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this restaurant. We had the worst experience we've ever had when ordering from Meat Liquor. Just see the photos. UberEats were to blame for the poor delivery service, but the restaurant served us complete garbage. Firstly the order took two hours which is inconceivable. The lady from the restaurant explained that they were waiting for an Uber driver to come but assured us that the food will be fresh. It was genuinely the worst burger we've ever had. Both meals were freezing upon arrival and the chicken burgers were both burnt batter with barely any chicken inside. Food was great, service meh. We were a big party to be fair but we did on request send in our order 24 hours before and it came on a tray, the wait staff didn’t help us k ow who’s was who’s. One of our party had to help our fetching drinks. The place I was sat was at the bottom of the stairs and it was a very cold. The food at this restaurant is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It may be a bit dark, but it is definitely worth a visit. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5.
