Aagrah - Leeds

Arrived having booked in advance, they had no record of our booking which was disappointing as it was my husbands birthday and I advised them of this when I booked. When orders were taken we were not made aware of the buffet that was available. The meal I ordered- butter chicken was inedible. It was greasy and tasteless. The nan bread was also covered in grease. On collecting our plates, the server did not ask how our meal was. I contacted the restaurant directly to make them aware and received no response. Really disappointed, will not be returning.

Ordered a takeaway. Was really impressed with how long it took to come. The taste of every single dish we ordered was awful. Even the pickle tray elements was awful. It was really expensive too! Really disappointed. Will not be going back.

Both of us had the buffet. There was plenty of choice. The starters included chops, wings, fish and bhajis plus lots more. Mains were varied and plentiful with a prawn curry, as well as the usual korma, tikka masala, madras and some veg curries. Chips and rice and 2 different naans. Desserts also had plenty to choose from including sticky toffee pudding and ice creams as well as Indian desserts. A bargain for the variety and quality of food, the food was also hot which isn’t always the case at any buffet, Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Food up to the usual Aagrah standard and decent table service. Busier than our favourite Aagrah on the York road which we compare this with. Might come again for a second try.

They do buffet every night here but the three of us ordered off the menu. Comfortable surrounds, polite and attentive staff. Lal Toofan to drink, which is great, but cannot find it anywhere. Starters were lamb chops absolutely beautiful, chicken pakoras and sea bass. Main courses Chicken Mangalore really good, Chicken tikka masala and a chicken and prawn dish. With rice and a family naan and tarka dall. It was a really tasty, filling meal. 10 per cent Blue light discount. Recommended, best meal in Garforth. My favourite curry for miles.
