Additionally, I believe they've updated their General Tso's Chicken recipe within the last couple of months (I'm writing this in May 2024), and it has definitely improved. Their General Tso's wasn't bad before, but now the sauce is thicker, the chicken appears to be of higher quality, and the overall result is fantastic. While some of the places I mentioned may have had better General Tso's in the past, that is no longer the case. If you haven't tried their General Tso's lately, I highly recommend giving it another shot; it’s definitely worth it.
This restaurant has been my go-to spot for several years now, and it's hard to find a better value for the price and quality. Sure, a $30-$40 meal at a fancy restaurant might taste better, but here you get a generous amount of delicious food without breaking the bank, all from a family-run establishment. The meals are prepared quickly and are surprisingly tasty for such affordable prices. It might seem too cheap to be good, but trust me, the food is the real deal. I spent just $19 for everything you see in my photos: a combo meal for $9.95 that included sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and an egg roll, along with a lunch special for $7.50 that came with soup, house special lo mein, fried rice, and another egg roll. It’s an absolute steal! And the quality remains impressive.
I am from Pittsburgh, I bought the Sesame Chicken Combo. I go to different Chinese places to try their sesame chicken and other items. Today I have come across a delicacy like I haven’t experienced for over 10 years. This Sesame Chicken took me back. This is one of the top 3 places for me now. I shall return to try other recipes. Thank You for the delicious food tonight. My tongue and belly is feeling happy now.
I ordered Szechaun beef, chicken fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The meat in my entree tasted awful. Like it was past its shelf life. Definitely not fresh. The sauce was watered down. The fried rice was made bouillon and not from chicken stock. It hardly had any peas or carrots in it. Hot and sour soup was good. I only ever had ordered a few times from this place but this last order was the worst experience. I think their 4.3 rating on here is to high. I've eaten alot of oriental food from many places and this place is mediocre at best. I'd rate this most recent experience as 1.5 and I'm being generous. They're cooking like a desperate restaurant. Cutting corners and stuff to save money. Unfortunately that is a recipe for disaster. If they don't improve, they won't be in business much longer.
