Bravo! Italian Kitchen - Leawood

Bravo Italian Kitchen Leawood is a regular stop for us. We enjoy the convenience, food and ambience. The challenge with this location is that you never know who is making your drinks. Sometimes they come immediately and other times they take a while and arrive with the ice already melted. The food is always good but on this occasion our bread didn't come until after our salads, then our food came before we could get halfway through our salads. Service and drinks are consistently the weak link at this location but not bad enough to keep us from returning.

Ups and downs have been the reality of this troubled restaurant. They got it right last weekend! Food was very tasty, hot bread with dipping oil at the beginning, chopped salad was a delight, and eggplant Parmesan was just right! Thus deserves another visit, hopefully our faith in their ‘return' will be rewarded!

The food was very well prepared and the Restaurant is clean well lit, but the service was slow and inattentive. Bravo is one of our favorite places for a family dinner or date night.

The jazz quintet was wonderful. If they could play a bit softer it would be nice. My husband and I liked it so much we will return to sit in the bar, have a drink and enjoy the tunes.

I didn't even get to eat. I sat down and the waiter informed me it would be a long time until he could help me. I sat for 20 min..no water, no bread, no drinks or menu. So I just got up and left and went to Hereford house. There were people waiting at bravo and I told them good luck, they shouldn't wait to just be ignored.
