The restaurant was empty on a beautiful Sunday for lunch. Huge outdoor dining area. Food was hotel quality and price.

This restaurant is sure of its location and not the quality of its dishes, spices wine. Fish massacred, condiment unclean,

Looking for somewhere for a fast drink, we decided because of its location at the mouth of the port. We went up to the magnificent view of the surrounding coast. The actual restaurant was very good in its appearance, etc., which...only reason I gave it two stars, our waiter was appalling. We waited ten minutes before our order and another twenty before their arrival. What I really found angry was the fact that the restaurant was not busy at all, but he seemed to ignore us consciously while we were waiting. As a result, we had to rush our drinks to Cafe Jules, where the food and service was excellent.

The additional big plus is that the menu gave a choice of three entrées, three meat and three fish main courses an a choice of dessert for which you could be spoilt for choice. Of course the test is did they live up to their...description, well the answer is a massive yes, our group of four each chose a different starter and main course and without exception agreed they were excellent. Finally we all complimented the staff and service. We hope the new hotel that Westotel are opening shortly in Le Pouliguen offers the same high standard.

Outstanding place, the building looks like a boat, brand new refurbished but it is a shame they could not manage to control the noise level. It is exhausting not o hear people you are with and after 2 hours there yes 2 hours because...the service is slow especially at the end of the meal when you are waiting for your coffees and bill you are stoned with your head like a watermelon! Staff are nice, today's special is still a good deal but the dish served are uneven, some are good, some disappointing. Fooding style ... Wine list is short and expensive, then we were happy to find a cheap drinkable one ...
